Had a neb on a Wolves forum. Not surprising I suppose but there appears to be universal disdain for Gaz O'Neil. I assumed there must be something about him but he's always come across as a bit of a gobshite to me. Reminds me of Lampard in the way he volunteers unsolicited explanations about his tactical choices.

Looking pretty hairy for Wolves but seems likely there'll be three worse teams come May.

Fantastic win today! Great performance all around the pitch.

How is AFTV still a thing btw? Is this considered good content? The same delusional takes, same stale format with interviews outside the stadiums with loser stragglers in the background.

Ty is still on - clearly a mentally ill man who should receive professional care instead of being ridiculed by the internet week in and out. I hope he doesn't read the comments. Disgusting really... not so much the comments but the way he is clearly being used for entertainment by the AFTV channel.

Most exciting thing for me is Hall and Tino, both brilliant and brilliant prospects. Hall is really coming into his own now.

The team/squad just needs some more pace at centre half and another RW and we can have a really strong second half of the season.

Have the tacticos started dissecting the game and giving Eddie advice after beating one of the best teams in the league with a clean sheet yet?

Ed needs to be more vertical with a double press when playing with a false 9

I actually thought that they got the rub of the green off the referee. Their players going over too easy, and the fouls being given. The co-commentator actually pointed it out once.

Aa I said in a post after the match, I watched it in a pub in Wooler, and there were Sunderland fans in. The one with the Sunderland top on was saying that Tonali’s yellow card just isn’t a yellow card, then looked at me and said it. My response was that if a Sunderland fan is telling a Newcastle fan, that a Newcastle player who’s received a yellow card, shouldn’t have, then it’s fucking clearly not a yellow card.

I think what this week shows is football can change quickly and fans can lose perspective a bit too quickly. We have a really tough match against Forest away but we’ll go there really confident I think and can give them loads Of problems.

They absolutely did. However, the referee was equally rubbish for both sides in my opinion. Missed a few and gave some strange ones.

I thought Tonali's was a yellow card offence but based off what the ref had been doing all game then it clearly wasn't. If Tonali was booked there then the rapist and one or two others should have already been in the book.

Arteta’s comments “you know the game they want to play, you get dragged into it” They’ve literally been doing exactly this the entire season, low blocks, shit housery etc 😂

The difference between the two is quite striking. When we lose, whether you agree with what he says or not, you can tell Eddie is trying to work out what went wrong, what we could do better etc. Arteta just complains, makes back-handed compliments, reels off excuses and looks like he's about to cry.

Longstaff pre assist 😂 Straight forward pass man.

However you so often see those passes either going behind or straight at the winger. It looks so easy when its excecuted to perfection.

It is usually Longstaff that makes those passes to be fair.
