Newcastle United vs. West Ham United: 25/11/24 @ 20:00 (Sky Sports)

I remember being on holiday in Malta for that 2002 game where Lua Lua scored two. Watched the first half in a bar and had to head back across half the island to our hotel at HT so missed all the 2nd half goals. Livid.

Watched the 3-0 back from the 95/96 season on the train this morning. Marc Reiper, Bilic, Potts, Williamson and Sealey must still wake up with night sweats from the PTSD they suffered that day. Just a wave of attacks and a wave of noise.

Let's hope we see a similar onslaught tonight :indi:

Any chance Trippier and Wilson could make the bench tonight?

Depends on if we got mind games from Howe. He said in the presser trips was ahead of Wilson and I think it was noted that Wilson hadn't trained with the group come Friday so would see if he did train would be shocked both make the bench.

Aye we were brilliant, Les Sealey (RIP) was the reason it wasn't 7 or 8. Even more wouldn't have flattered us.

Sad news - missed that one - was it recent?

I don't like how confident I am right now. The league this season is so tight, and other than Liverpool and Southampton, everyone can seemingly beat anyone, which makes being confident a fools game, especially as we've only just really started getting our performances back to a decent level

6-0 please. Hattrick for Isak and Gordon, and a clean sheet for Pope. Would do wonders for my fantasy score.

Apart from that, a strong performance and 3 points. Then only 2 points off second. Got to win this and palace game, then finally get three points off LFC.

Aye it never seems to work out when we’re heavy favourites like this, but all logic says we’re winning this well. Start quick and take the early chance that’s inevitably going to come

Haha this sums up my feelings exactly. I went into Forest fully expecting a nothing performance and loss, I feel fairly confident today which is rarely a good sign.

West Ham have the players to cause us issues. Hoping Kelly can slot in next to Schar fairly easily!
