Got a whack against Arsenal and it’s why he came off. Based on what Howe was saying. Not sure there will be much interest in him. But getting to the point now where we must be looking to move him on. He can never stay fit and put a run of games together to regain his form. Such a shame. As he’s a really unique player.
TBG Posted Sunday at 14:06 Share Posted Sunday at 14:06 I speak for everyone when i say I would've happily paid £30 to see the under 21 team play and would have not complained one bit.

Newcastle Fan Posted Sunday at 14:07 Share Posted Sunday at 14:07 Think it's balanced enough to win easy, hopefully we get to see Sanusi at some point. Surprised Joelinton is starting, also feel like there was need for Dubravka to start this one but aside from that its pretty much the predicted line up. NobbySolano Posted Sunday at 14:08 Share Posted Sunday at 14:08 I really do not like big Joe in this game. Not only would I like him to get some rest but he can get easily wound up, and it's not worth it against this team. Looking at the team seems like he didn't have much choice, which is worrying that we don't have a backup with the same profile.
Yorkie Posted Sunday at 14:09 Share Posted Sunday at 14:09 Who can name the five starters today who also featured in the Cambridge upset?

M1tche Posted Sunday at 14:12 Share Posted Sunday at 14:12 Hopefully, we can get the game won early, then get the young lads from the bench on, and also get Big Joe off early as possible
KaKa Posted Sunday at 14:13 Share Posted Sunday at 14:13 Pretty annoying we can't get Joelinton some rest. Willock is so injury prone man. Might have to start looking at moving him on I think.
St1pe Posted Sunday at 14:15 Share Posted Sunday at 14:15 Howe must be pretty confident Dubravka is staying because why wouldn’t you take this opportunity to play Vlachy against weaker opponents to bed him in.

I agree though does seem to pick things up very easily. Edited Sunday at 14:21 by ExiledGeordie
Nine Posted Sunday at 14:21 Share Posted Sunday at 14:21 (edited) It’s just about what to expect here selection wise, it’s not Howes style to start unready young players and risk losing any momentum here Edited Sunday at 14:22 by Nine
thomas Posted Sunday at 14:23 Share Posted Sunday at 14:23 Happy to see Miley getting some time. I understand he's not at Tonali or Bruno levels but he looked so promising last season I had expected more cameos.
STM Posted Sunday at 14:23 Share Posted Sunday at 14:23 (edited) Lads, Joelinton is playing 45 minutes against Bromley. I've no doubt we will see cameos from other big hitters in the second half. It's not about them not getting injured, its about just giving them enough game time to bounce into the next game. They've all had a mini holiday, at this level they likely need a few minutes to start dialling back up again. It's worth baring in mind they've had one day's training since Arsenal. andycap Posted Sunday at 14:26 Share Posted Sunday at 14:26 I would of started Sanusi and dropped almiron into centre mid. Let big joe have a rest.
