We haven't though. The only game we played our hearts out in and were unlucky to lose was the Isak debut game where the ref's cheated us. wyn davies
Why is this on TV ? for the benefit of showing how many goals Liverpool may score and if they do get a few use it to perhaps embarrass our club and owners with the old crap of richest club in the world nonsense. Botman had just scored to make it 3-2 with ten mins left or so and they got a penalty when Jota decided to fall down 3 or 4 strides after rounding Dubravka. ExiledGeordie
I’m not worried about this game mainly because we usually lose and secondly because it won’t tell us anything more about the team. Liverpool won’t sit back and that suits us. Edited December 2 by ExiledGeordie

TK-421
Just had to look up the goals from that game. Mad match... first half, offside goals for both teams (incl. a Burn header) and then the missed (saved) Salah penna. But then remember that second half as Gakpo's goal looked a mile off initially, and then of course Jota's dive for the 2nd penna. Forgotten Botmans goal too, only remeber his goal at Sheff Utd. Being 1-0 up at home against 10 men then losing is pretty close to disgraceful like. Might not be the words I'd choose but I would be lying if I wasn't livid when that happened. Losing at home to two miracle finishes from Nunez is “disgraceful”, Pope is a “bottom 3 goalkeeper” etc. Like, criticise away, there is much to pour over but the language used at times is reminiscent of a kid rage quitting football manager, and makes a decent discussion impossible. Whitley mag
If only we had ‘Rambo’ Reilly to replace Isak up front, instead of Calum ‘felt a twinge’ Wilson.
HaydnNUFC
We played well with 10 men against them in February 2023 tbf. Either their keeper or ASM won MOTM iirc. Losing against 10 men after being a goal and man up for 65 minutes was fairly lifting, like. We hold on there and we're not relying on the FA Cup final for yewrup. Absolutely blatant second yellow. EDIT: He got lucky in the 2-3 game at the end of Rafa's reign as well. He handled it on the line and would have got a red if Atsu didnt knock in the rebound.
