I probably would for this

this is the match you do that mad back 5/3 thing or whatever he did when we beat spurs last few times

I'd play the same starting 11 as we did versus Palace but I'd 100% have Joelinton, Willock and Hall on the left side to deal with Mo. I'd have Gordon, Bruno, Tino on the ride side to deal with Diaz. Tonali central in the holding role.

Be typical of Newcastle to get a result

I think we'll see a much improved performance, whether that'll be good enough to get a positive result who knows, if we do get either or happy days but it's about backing it up in games like Brentford away and Leicester at home after it.

Nearly every team gets done on the counter by Liverpool. Will be really annoying if we play into their hands with our slow back line.

As others said we need to play the same tactics that always works for us against spurs,  where we are the counter attack team, even if we are at home.

I don’t think we can play how we did this year against Spurs, Salah will punish us if we play like that.

I’m not worried about this game mainly because we usually lose and secondly because it won’t tell us anything more about the team. Liverpool won’t sit back and that suits us.

I’ve seen a few people say this. What’s their incentive to attack? If they’ve been watching they’ll know that all they need to do is let us have the ball and they’ll pick us off on the counter at ease.

Revenge for that outstandingly good whiskers hair offside goal!

Unless there's been an image released to show it was offside, that was onside as far as I'm concerned.

The only thing I’m dreading about this game is Darwin looking like the best striker there ever was again.

Almost guaranteed he smashes one in with his first attempt on goal tomorrow night.

Not looking forward to this at all. With the Forest game aside Liverpool have been very good. Gakpo is bang in form too.

Gakpoo proved me wrong. Wasn't convinced when he signed but he has been really good this season. His movement for his goal against city was very clever.

Oh a potential dry humping for sure but not before we have a questionable VAR decision go against us.

Gordon will be up for it. We need to bring back the dark arts and frustrate the cunts.

We can't do that.  It'll be 100mph for 15-20 mins as has happened in a lot of games this season.

I was more implying it may take that to beat them [emoji38], although I know we can’t keep that up. I hope all our team

hit a high note 2mow. We can’t have anyone not on it!

He might be up for it, but if he's playing as a striker not sure it will make much difference.
