They just punished our first real mistakes in the game with their elite quality. Made 3 big mistakes second half. They score two and should score another. That dragged them back into the game. 
 

Should have been out of sight before all of that. So it is frustrating. Brilliant game and performance. Very frustrating in some ways.

Mo Salah, man. Lewis Hall kept him mostly off the ball, he himself was excellent on the ball, and one on one with him he was fantastic. Salah: 2 goals, 1 assist, hit the bar. Mad player.

 

You'd take a draw, I'll take a draw despite feeling robbed. Definite pen and an insane FT whistle with us about to put Wilson in is maddening, them not scoring more is a relief, getting the draw is sort of right.

Glad we got a draw. Thought Liverpool were very dangerous and little unlucky given chances they created. They could have scored more. Think Isak looked a pen to me, but very happy with a point. Bit snakey not allowing that last attack. Swear Liverpool got a winner via Carvalho once against us very late maybe after extra time finished?

 

Entertaining game. Think Tonali is coming good now. Burn and Schar are good, but we need Botman and next too CB. Plus Murphy should have scored and lost the ball a lot where a top quality right winger would transform us more.

 

Didn't like that comment about the game "shouldn't be referreed by VAR" - err, it's supposed to raise matters missed by the ref. The Isak pen was a foul for me and missed by ref. That's what's VAR is for? Arguably more so than offsides that historically nobody ever would have noticed or minded the goal given as its that tight.

Yeah, whenever I get annoyed & think about how much better we could be I always think: imagine if Eddie had Mo Salah on the RW. How would we be then?

It is quite annoying the ref blows it dead when we are 3-on-1 dead on the 95th minute, with five minutes of extra time. When the other day, they got about 107 minutes of football to get a result.

Thought they created some excellent chances and probably should have scored more compared to us. That's all I meant.

You ever played those Pro Evo/Fifa games where you win the ball but it still somehow always falls to them?

 

That was this match for me, was crazy how often we put tackles in that they kept or dropped to another player.

So could have we mind. Gordon and Murphy are great chances. Van Dick should have been off and a penalty also. They weren't unlucky at all
