Crux of it being some (unnamed) players were supposedly pissed off by Eales saying every player has a price (not sure when he actually said it?) But then also says in the article that it hasn’t affected the effort that any players have put in, so not sure what point he is trying to make really? STM Posted December 14 Share Posted December 14 Craig Hope's YouTube content is normally faily accurate, or at least I find myself agreeing with him, when I do watch it. Ultimately he's a hack. His job is to get people buying his paper or clicking his articles, which means he's always going to be edging toward sensationalism. Whether he writes his articles positive or negative or whether he does them on the morning of the match or not, it won't (or shouldnt) have any baring on the performance/result.
