Bit surprised at that. I thought the odds would have been pretty even, or even us slight favourites

They do, but they also have us as heavy favourites to qualify.

Agreed, it was the same with Schar when he partnered Botman prior to his injury. Schar was the superior player yet Botman got all of the accolades. A lot of it is just people parroting the general and often uninformed consensus, but also perhaps because Botman is the younger, more enticing player meaning they can use his name to fabricate stories and links to other clubs.

WTF. Its a month away for a start, so anything could happen between now and then.

Don't mind them being favourites, that suits us, and puts more pressure on them - which is perfect.
