Bournemouth only have 13 fit first team players, our subs might be a big factor here.

Bournemouth were out on their feet last 15 minutes against Chelsea, and looked like conceding every time Chelsea went forward near the end.

I hope we’re not relying on subs, mind.

Earlier in the season they were saving us. But it seems like for quite some time. We get noticeably worse once we have made changes.

Which might be why Howe is so reluctant to bring on fresh legs earlier and waits until he thinks the game is done.

Buzzing for this game I’ve always wanted to come to st james park, but can never really afford to.

my mate has got us both tickets for my birthday, plus spend the weekend there too. Only seen away games when in the championship. Can’t wait to be fair 😁

That’s amazing, where are you coming in from?

Not that far just the Channel Islands guernsey. It’s a exspensive weekend for me and is hard to get tickets too.

my mate had to get hospitality tickets 😬

For sure, can’t wait for the nights out too.

It's a beautiful City and full of lovely people.  You will have a great time.

Play like we did against Wolves at many moments and I think we'd lose this. Bournemouth are a strong dangerous outfit this year, add in the hold they seem to have over Howe in this fixture as well and it could be tricky.

Need the the boys to be a little sharper than they were last night as felt we rode our luck a fair bit.

Hopefully fatigue for us doesn't play a factor either, very quick turnaround and one less day to prepare than they had.

Our bench is looking weak for attacking options.

Let's hope the lads find their best form again and turnover another team who are trying to keep up with us.

Just for clarity, Howe has lost once against Bournemouth as Newcastle manager, and that was last November when we virtually ran out of players.

If you include the cup win, his record is 1-4-1, so not as bad as made out.

The main issue has been that our performances against them, and the matches in general, have been fairly piss poor.

Nervous about this. Have to keep Semenyo and Kluivert quiet

Semenyo definitely. Kluivert I don’t particularly rate. Hasn’t scored a goal from open play this season.

They have a decent back four, but they're up against Alexander Isak, the guy is a phenom.

Feel their midfield is gash, Cook, Adams, and that Christie who'll no doubt just foul our players.

They seem to go better when they drop Cook and go with Kluivert.

Looked at their injuries, they seem to have a fair few, I'm hopeful we will make this count, patience is key, we just keep sticking to the plan, at some point we'll hurt them.

If that's what wins us the game, who cares.

Bournemouth will be incredibly tough and I'd be content winning it by any means necessary.
