Was watching this at home with MrsG, her mother and her bloke. A beef casserole in the slow cooker for afterwards.

However I got a late call for a perch in my pals box so have thrown them under the bus. Will prep the beef, tho 😉

GAME ON!!!

Reminded me of that derby match when my brother's pal had a box at the Stade de plop.

Had a spare seat so we text our pal Doddsy from Shields.

He was in Tesco, Northam road, with his lass and the bairns doing the weekly.

We swung by and picked him up from the car park. Left her there with a full trolley 😂😂

She was cool with it tho 😍

Massive game this today. Win this and we're really up there and competing. Just seems such a big game and I'm nervous.

There'll all big when you want to be finishing top 4, hopefully we learned enough 2 seasons ago to go about these games in the right way.

Feels like we’ve dropped off in performance levels. Going for 1:1 with these being a bit of a bogey team for us.

:dowie:

1 game, ONE game (which we won 3-0)

I think the team is a completely different setup to previous seasons, we up out intensity when it's needed. It's clear we are using game management more, so the players aren't operating at full capacity all the time. Against wolves we did what we had to do, yes they had chances that other teams would have scored but that's the whole reason they are near the bottom, they don't usually take them. I honestly feel if we needed to step it up at any point during that game we had it in reserve.

I fully expect us to raise our game today and it will be a very different performance to Wolves.

Unfortunately, this potential 'bounce back' threat is nullified when Howe brings on 2nd rate subs, late on.

I’ll take the other side and say we should win easily today. Bournemouth are not far off a Spurs level injury crisis, to the point where Jebbison (who has been recalled from his Sheffield United loan) will probably be the only outfield player on the bench who you can call senior (unless there is a surprise return). They only made two subs in the week (one of which was forced) and I imagine they’ll fade in the second half (as they did against Chelsea).

If this were away I'd feel a little more uneasy. We're at home, the crowd need to make it hostile for them and lift our team.

Only hostility you’ll get from our crowd for a 12.30 against Bournemouth will be if Sean Longstaff’s on the pitch
