mattypnufc Posted yesterday at 08:49 Share Posted yesterday at 08:49 Man U beating City in the FA Cup last season was a bigger mismatch for me. Crimson Cardigan Posted yesterday at 08:51 Share Posted yesterday at 08:51 Talking to my Toffee mate last night bemoaning our injury list, he made the point that Everton gave them a real game (and got a draw) with a much worse side than ours. But our commitment and work rate is going to have to be at PSG levels and we haven’t seen that in a while now…

First off we need to reverse the momentum and poor form. Second, it's a winnable game in our chase for European spots.

The Prophet
Man United 1-2 Man City Leicester 1-0 Chelsea Wigan 1-0 Man City Daft things can happen in cup finals against the odds. Sure Liverpool are short favourites, but we still have some very good players who can hurt them. If we can't get up for it, we might as well pack in. gbandit
Need to come out the traps and just throttle these cunts. MotM performances from every lad. Tonali and Bruno need to be absolutely on it and Isak just needs to put away every chance he gets
Miggys First Goal
Hopefully Liverpool will think they’re in for an easy time with Gordon and Hall both out. Might make them complacent. Then we stun them with our intensity. Biff baff boff - Toon win 3-1.

The Prophet
The game is going to be won and lost in the middle of the park. If we're not sharp and don't close down passing lanes, it's not going to matter whether it's Hall, Tino or Isak at left back, their front three will run riot. We can't give them the respect we did at Anfield. Edited 23 hours ago by The Prophet

Kid Icarus
It's a neutral venue anyway so not away, but even then we've had plenty of away performances this season that fly in the face of this perception of it being poor. If anything I think we've been arguably better away than at home. Arsenal, Man United, Spurs, Forest, Ipswich, Southampton. Everton where we should have got all 3 points too. Then matches where we've ground out results despite not playing well, like Wolves, Palace, Bournemouth, and matches where we should have done better. The away matches where we really, really let ourselves down isn't that long, it's basically Fulham, Brentford, Man City, Liverpool.
