I'm not a fan of them but I'm not going to enter this game with my heart full of hate. If they win, it will just be more painful.

I still hate Cambridge Utd more than them  - but you never quite get over what you dislike when you’re 10!

Tbf never been on there, and I would take angry internet gobshites with a pinch of salt.  The Heysel whitewashing is unpleasant and can be tone deaf given the obvious visibility of Hillsborough.  But both of those events could’ve happened to any club’s supporters in the ‘80s - Leeds fans were fighting in the ground in the 1975 European Cup final.  The difference was that the ground wasn’t a crumbling death trap.

No doubt they are a good team and massive favourites but worse teams than us have taken points off them this season, our strongest first 11 can give anyone a game. Even that awful Spurs team beat them a few weeks ago.

56/69 points for them. Best attack, best defence. Topped the CL league stage.

 

They seem extremely well balanced to me and have arguably the best player in the world right now tearing teams to pieces.

They are, and it is harsh, but there is something about this current Liverpool team, maybe not boring but definitely bland, that makes it feel like they're not a "vintage" team. 

 

Not to take anything away from them, they've clearly been quality and are putting in the work to be the best team in Europe, but it something feels very mechanical about them.

My brother was at the ‘74 Cup Final and said their fans were great. 
 

Since then they’ve steadily become unbearable and have huge numbers of band wagon fans who generally are there for the “glory” and by definition are wankers.

 

I was at Anfield for the KK 3rd round FA Cup game when their fans were starting fights all over and bricking the buses. At KK’s Testimonial match where a car load tried to pull us over looking for a fight.

 

Met some great Scousers and I guess they say the same about us but I despise their general fanbase. Heysel was a disgrace, they routinely charged turnstiles around that time, I was in the Liverpool end when they played Arsenal in the LC Final and had first hand experience of their mindset (Charlie Nicholas Final). What happened at Sheffield isn’t a shield behind which they can deflect and protect portions of their support and is a disservice to the families affected.

 

By god I hope we show up in the final.

Seen us score one goal at Wembley in my lifetime. One. Rob ‘new knee’ Lee’s header (from a peach of a cross from Shearer) in FA Cup semi. Hoping this changes in March.

Someone commented on how he's from Hartlepool. He responded he's actually from Berwick.

I judge clubs by the fans that I meet in person, not online  The only ones I genuinely dislike are Liverpool, Everton, Man Utd and Sunderland.
