No point in dressing this up.

I think the ticketing team are FUCKING DAFT CUNTS AND I HATE THEM

So if you're a member that gets to every game, chases down tickets, works your fucking arse off in the face of a shambolic system all to ensure you can secure a ticket get to the match, you're actually:

a) a 2nd class citizen compared to anyone with an ST, whether they've gone to a cup game or not

b) on exactly the same footing as a member who has put in 1 x ballot application all season

The arseholes who divvy out tickets can GET TO FUCK

Also can't get away with how a season ticket holder not in the cup scheme, could have been to all the games home and away and get lumped in with a member who only applied for the semi-final. Absolutely crackers.

Apologies if already discussed...This is interesting in the FAQs:

What happens if I signed up to the Cup Scheme but couldn't make any of the matches so forwarded or resold my ticket?

Due to the nature of having more people on the Cup Scheme than tickets available a priority selling order has been outlined. Priority has been given to those fans that attended games.

If that's true then that must include seasonal hospitality who opted in aswell? I assume when we say "31k ST holders" etc we're talking general admission only?

Yeah, that’s more or less me, applied for all home games, got none. Will now just sign up to all schemes and sell tickets I can’t get to. That’s not right and doesn’t help loyal members but it’s the route I’m forced down.

Like it.

Was going to be my question in the hope of getting a ticket.

I can guarantee there will be cunts going in there that will be mute just so they can say they were in with the "Ultras"

As a member who attended 3 home games and got screwed by the queue fuck-up for the semi-final, it's pretty annoying to see them place me right down the bottom below people that only went to 2 games, like.

I think anyone that sat through Wimbledon at home should've been Pot 1.

Confirmed? Seen nowt on the clerb site.

Says in the FAQs they'll be posted: https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/wembley-ticket-news-2025

I'm an England Travel Club member and it's always paper or print at home aswell, seems a bit wild Wembley doesn't do digital at all, although the FA is trying to roll out an England Supporters App, but there we are!

ID checks aswell apparently (only mentioning as I know it's a topic close to your heart!)

Sure there was supposed to be ID checks last time but I don't know a single person who went and had theirs checked.

In fact I know of more than one who got in without a ticket altogether, such was the laxness of the stewards.

Absolutely spot on. Appalling treatment of members who attend lots of games. Cannot believe it's this bad.

I strolled in via a quiet turnstile on an OAP ticket, and there's no way the checky could have thought I was an OAP

Emails not gone out yet?

Says before 6pm.

I have not had one yet.

Delighted to announce that I will be in Pot 2 though...

(Delighted for me, I feel for the huge number of people who really want to go but, won't be able to)

I agree but I can’t get too angry because ST holders have always ruled everything in football. So I’m disappointed but I was expecting it.

The Liverpool approach seems much fairer to people who’ve actually been to the games.

But that said, those ST holders who didn’t bother are probably quite a small number. Even if they didn’t go they would have bought tickets and sold/given them to people off the record.

Almost 100% sure members were treated a hell of a lot better than this last time. Many cases of season ticket holders missing out in favour of members, which doesn't seem possible at all this time. There had been less home ties to use to stagger the pots, worth considering.

Some season ticket holders kicked off about the fact they could lose out to members last time so it seems to me that has been taken on board.

Aye there was defo a ballot and then members were getting contacted by the club to say there's been a drop out etc so they could take that spare one. No luck for me like, I rang up and they could check if you were on the list to take one of those tickets and no cigar. Went to all cup games this time around thinking it would improve my chance. LOL.

I find that difficult to believe in all honesty. Would mean we’d probably have to have 35/36k ST holders. Seems high to me?

As you say, I suspect that ~32k allocation is a fair bit less once hospitality, sponsors and players take their cut. At which point we then probably have more people in the cup scheme than tickets available.

There’s a group of us who’d like to sit together, but I think a couple will be in category 3 (due to forwarding their Wimbledon ticket). The only way to sit together is to wait 24hrs and pick seats with category 3, which could be a risk if that’s true. 🤔

One of the most galling things about membership is that there's no way to elevate your status as a reward for going to or applying to go to games

You can't get an ST so there's zero chance of giving yourself a better likelihood of getting into cup finals or away games

We've got a completely segregated system and that segregation is based on people's willingness to keep paying for an ST to watch an Ashley owned NUFC

And there's no attempt at all to recognise punters like me and many others, who since the ownership changed are forking out a fortune and dedicating loads of effort to get ourselves to games

I don't think we should be at the top of the tree, but I also feel very pissed off that 3 years and thousands of pounds later we're still stuck at the very bottom in the weeds and moss

I’m in exactly the same boat. Just hope there’s 2-3 together in the lower tier. 😬
