black_n_white Posted Sunday at 17:44 Share Posted Sunday at 17:44 Bournemouth, Brighton and Fulham are still in it, 3 teams we’ve lost too at home this season. Odds on we get either Forest or Man City.

TomYam Posted Sunday at 18:20 Share Posted Sunday at 18:20 Perhaps there will be a different FA Cup winner this year. The same 5 clubs have won in 31 of the last 36 years seasons (and ManC joined the party only recently). In fact 9 of the last 10 finalists have featured the same 5 clubs. So for all the talk of 'shocks', a true 'shock' only counts when one of those 5 (possibly 6 if you add Spurs) loses to ANY OTHER clubs. Arguably it's more of a shock if Arsenal were knocked out by Brentford than Nottingham Forest losing to Chesterfield. Plymouth Argyle defeating Liverpool is obviously a monumental 'shock'. One for the ages.

SteV Posted Sunday at 18:42 Share Posted Sunday at 18:42 I’d have no real issue with drawing Forest like, even away. We seem to match-up far better against them than Bournemouth, Brighton and even Fulham.
Billy Warthog Posted Sunday at 18:48 Share Posted Sunday at 18:48 Any of these at home would be nice: Millwall, Ipswich, PNE, Cardiff, Plymouth. Doncaster and Exeter too if they get through. I only say home tie as we do enough bloody travelling, but if we're away to any of these then that's also decent. Would not like Bournemouth, Fulham or Man City. Would fancy our chances against Villa/Spurs, Brighton and potentially Forest. Kind of indifferent to Palace, Wolves and Burnley. We could have a memorable season in the making if we play to our strengths. Shoot me later if it all goes wrong.
WilliamPS Posted Sunday at 18:51 Share Posted Sunday at 18:51 Really need to see Man City out before Rhodri returns… The dream draw is Man City to plan Villa away, and then to play the winner of that at home in the quarters, and for Man Utd to have to travel to Brighton Fulham and Bournemouth are good sides and will fancy it too, I’d really enjoy meeting sides like that in the latter stages

And that would be pushing it.
Jonas Posted Sunday at 19:32 Share Posted Sunday at 19:32 Plenty of good teams left that can definitely beat us - but no fear and feels nice.
Teslact Posted Sunday at 19:37 Share Posted Sunday at 19:37 Is Tuesday's game as originally scheduled, or was it moved by the police etc? I really don't like when they do the draw before all the originally scheduled games have played. Do it before the first game or the round or wait until after the last. Mike Posted Sunday at 19:39 Share Posted Sunday at 19:39 Gonna be the second worst 9/11 this century when we draw Bournemouth.

Ellis H Posted Sunday at 21:12 Share Posted Sunday at 21:12 The fact that the top 3 favourites are Man City, Us and Man Utd is very promising. One is in the worst run of form in nearly 10 years and the other even longer. If we’d have had a better transfer window we could genuinely have done the double without too much hassle. Having said that, winning the double would be all the more sweeter because we aren’t allowed to.
