They could argue that the fact that we won the League Cup increases the likelihood of us winning the FA Cup, and therefore they see it as being related, since part of the price will factor in how long we haven't won something, and given they've priced it up on their site as 14/1 for the double yet it's the much bigger price quoted above adding it as two singles would suggest to me it maybe a problem if it wins. I could be wrong though for sure, just speculating based on the price difference, and bookies being bookies! :)

Hilarious discussion to have btw, I'll take the one thanks.

A Liverpool EFL cup, Newcastle Fa cup double should be bigger priced than the 2 single prices doubled up if that's the case

This will be the seventh game between the two sides in this competition, with the Magpies winless since 1930:

2024/25 (h) R5
2012/13 lost 0-2 (a) R3
2011/12 lost 0-1 (a) R4
1985/86 lost 0-2 (h) R3
1982/83 lost 0-1 (h) R3R
1982/83 drew 1-1 (a) McDermott R3
1929/30 won 3-0 (h) Gallacher 3 R5

Can’t be in fear of a tie like this, at the 5th round you’ve gotta be beating good teams anyway.

They are more than beatable.

Can’t complain being drawn at home in the 5th round, but exactly the type of team we’ve been struggling with at home at this season.

Brighton at home in the cup also sends shudders down any older fans, really tough draw in the context of being 2 weeks away from the Cup Final and keeping up the top 5 challenge.

Every time we've played them in round 5 we've won though. Can't argue with facts.
