We'll see. Either way if his groin is so had he's not even in the squad, he isn't going to be 100% in just over 2 weeks.

You don’t know that and you don’t know how severe it is.

I'd expect this to be precautionary factoring in the slim likelihood of getting a result anyway and the fact the final is around the corner.

Still absolutely grim that we effectively write a fixture off when we are in the middle of a champions league battle.

Unbelievable (yes the pun was intentional).

Since when have our fan base turned into absolute fannies?

I doubt me considering not tuning in from hundreds of miles away will make much if a difference like

Oh yes he is.  You don't know how this football psychology works do you?

If he's got to miss any game I guess this is the one to miss. Our chances of winning decrease dramatically but they were low anyway.

He won't be needed for Brighton, just need to make sure he's fit for the final now.

Yet @Rod likes this defeatist post :mackems:

Taking no chances for Sunday and not giving Lpool any practice for the final - I hope.

Take or medicine tonight and don’t complain.

Of course, we’ll get hammered and twist on like bitches.

A slight groin issue can mean if he plays tonight he definitely misses the final! Calm down people.

I’m happy to give him a free groin massage if it means he’s fit for that final!

Looking forward to Wilson and Willock trying to break the fewest touches in a match record

And you know they will break it is the sad part. Maybe we will break the XG record again on Anfield when we are at it..
