Today's been fucking brilliant. Been at a mate's wedding, the game was on during the afternoon meal and since then it's been an absolute blur. I've had about 16, 18 pints (yeah, he drinks) and I am just settling down in the room at the gaff, absolutely twatted. Cup of tea, shortbread, highlights on for about the twelfth time.

 

We did it. All of the shitty Ashley years we ensured have paid off in the best way today and there'll be more to come. Everyone in black and white was absolutely amazing today - fans, players, staff - and we absolutely dominated the best side in the country. 

 

Well done everyone for your top support, be it in the stadium itself or in venues across the world. We finally did it!!!

Wow, what a day. As others have said, after the first 10 minutes I just sensed we would do it, we were on it and Liverpool were off it. The Burn goal just before half time was huge, and I've never celebrated a goal like that in my life. Think I scared my 2 young kids who were in the room with the amount of noise I made, hopefully they'll remember it anyway!

 

Never thought I'd see us win something. Feels a bit weird, not as jubilant as I thought I would be, just complete satisfaction that we've achieved something mixed with pride and happiness. What a bunch of players and what a manager, absolutely over the moon for all of them

Yeah fair play to Slot. His interview after the game was top class, gave us loads of credit and essentially admitted that Howe's tactics won it for us. Hope he doesn't turn into a cunt like Klopp did
