Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Newcastle United: 04/05/25 @ 14:00 (Sky Sports)

I always worry about us in transition, especially against players who can attack the flanks at pace.

The exciting thing is we have so much room to improve.

The league cup aside - is this our most important game of the season?

Nah that was Brentford imo.

Brighton have conceded two or more in each of their last 6 games.

We've scored two or more in 6 of our last 7.

I look forward to watching us fail to hit a barn door this afternoon.

Fully rested, only one injury in the first team - I would hope Newcastle ought to win today. But I definitely view it as a game we shouldn't lose, if we can't win.

Our GD advantage over some chasing sides is not that useful unless we have a three point lead. Hopefully we've learnt from the AC Milan game if it's still nils apiece with 80 minutes gone.

Win = 2nd is on!

Draw = CL is on!

Lose = Europa League

I tend to agree.  Lose and I recon we either need something at Arsenal or we're relying on Villa/others to drop points.

I would bring botman back today, they have pace on the wings and welbeck isn't slow, just think schar wont give us the cover needed.

In midfield I would prefer willock, he is due a good Game and has a bit more match fitness...

I look at our remaining fixtures and unless we are at our best we could possibly lose all of them.

Today is the start and if we lose this the pressure will be enormous. Not just on me but Eddie and the team
