Thought Barnes was probably the best of a middling to poor bunch. Only one who showed a bit of urgency on the ball across the 90. Way too much sloppy passing and indecision from the rest. We move on.

Agreed. Was strange to see us take so long to move the ball today; was like having a few Longstaffs on the pitch in that regard.

Probably our toughest remaining game so a good point. Gordon must play next week you’d think.

Annoying that he always moves Barnes over to the right. But I did think Barnes actually looked good on the right today. Especially when he was coming into central areas to receive the ball.

Joelinton big miss 🫤

He is, but our best midfield 3 got schooled there last time.

Think it's deeper than that. Not good enough on the ball centrally. We rely far too much on work out wide.

If Liverpool and Palace can do their bit now we could all but confirm it with a win next week.

Add "all but". Depends on GD.

I thought Wilson looked the best he’s been in ages.

We were better when he replaced Willock for sure.

Allowed Isak a bit more freedom to roam as he was occupying their centre backs more.

Unlucky not to score.

Also thought Barnes was decent down the right and added more balance as Murphy was not at the races today.

Would have taken that before the match. Hate that non entity of a club.

Got a lot wrong today and Tonali and Bruno were awful. Once Wilson was on Isak had a lot more freedom which helped.

Is there a reason the Brighton player didn't get booked for the handball? Looked deliberate.

VAR was too busy trying to find any reason to not give the pen.

Agree with most of these but I’d mark Willock down massively for the dive

Not sure why, it was his only option. Only guilty of not selling it as well as Gordon does.

Fucking wasted all that injury time pissing about.

Pope had 2 goals kicks, each which took 30 seconds to take.

Our players just fucking pissing about on the fucking ball.

The game was there for us to win and we sat back and said ‘Brighton, do you want it?’

Honestly, our mentality can be so fucking weak at times.

No pressing, a minute left and their goalkeeper has the ball, no one pressed him.

Wilson had probably the best chance of the game in the 96th minute, that forced an excellent save from their keeper.

Willock was Willock and the other two were well off it as was Murphy. Nobody was committing anyone to make space either with the ball or with a run in a space until the second half and the games/subs opened it up a bit.

Really odd game as they’ll be annoyed too as they were pretty shit with all the same faults as us.

We should have created more. We just dallied about with the ball.

Our fucking weak mentality saw us boss the second half and get a deserved equaliser right at the end
