Ghandis Flip-Flop
Good god, reading some of these comments, really does demonstrate how psychologically damaged our fanbase is. Now for a second go back to the start of the season, or better yet after the 4-2 defeat to Brentford, now if someone told you then this team would win a cup and have CL qualification in their own hands with 3 games to play. You’d have been over the fucking moon. Some posters on here need minge bungs, as minge wipes wouldn’t cut it 🤦🏻♂️

Clearly not those posters no, the ones who seemingly want to diminish what these players have done. FFS there’s someone earlier in the thread trying to suggest that the Man Utd game was closer than the 4-1 score line suggested, despite us playing it in second gear. im convinced some posters in here after having a threesome with Jennifer Anniston and Liv Tyler, would complain that Janine off Easternders wasn’t there too 🤦🏻♂️

From what I remember that Tonali one was never a penalty like, if anything it was a foul the other way. And their was contact on the Barnes FK. It was minimal, but it was there. Lush Vlad
Tonali one was never a pen. O’Reilly chucks his leg across to initiate the contact. Even Lee Hendrie, who didn’t seem too complimentary about us all afternoon, agreed. The Barnes free kick was a clear foul. Barnes shifts the ball on too quickly for Van Hecke and then waits for the contact. He could have got out the way, yes. As he misses him with his right and then his trailing leg catches him on the way through. Van Hecke has slid in from side on/behind him and got nowhere near the ball. Why is it on Barnes to make sure there is no contact, even if minimal?

Even more so when he was always correct, the c*nt 😂😂

STM
On the balance of play we were the better side. Not dealing with Minteh in that moment cost us 3 points. As good as it was from him, it was soft as fuck from Tino and Tonali... but these lads have credit in the bank. Id have likely taken a draw but seeing how average they were, a draw is disappointing. The sickener is actually Liverpools no show at Chelsea.

It's still in our hands and that's about as much as you can ask for.
The Prophet
Having watched it all the way through, I thought a point was about right. First half was a bit of a non-event. We were better after the break, but didn't really feel we did enough to win the game, granted both teams will argue they had their chances. It'll prove to be a decent point should we win those two home games.

Pilko
Not sure if it's been mentioned but that's got to be the quietest we've ever kept Welbeck. Didn't even have a shot of any kind, barely noticed he was playing til he was booked for dissent late on. A welcome change from his usual goal against us. Aye, if we want to challenge for the league it's an area we simply have to improve on. Not sure Howe's got that in his locker mind. We'll see. Abacus
Watching the match in real time, I kind of thought a draw was a fair result and also a good one. This morning I watched match of the day 2 and they clearly thought we were slightly the better team, which the stats seemed to back up. I'm not getting into a stats debate, still think a draw was just about fair. Maybe Barnes could have swung it our way, thought he was excellent. The point being that we played well and a loss wouldn't have felt right. Quietly confident of CL now, but the Chelsea game at home is going to be huge. Think we'll turn up again for that, even though they're a good team.

I'm hoping you're right and thinking you are. If this season has shown anything it's that we can turn up when it matters. I had no idea how much that cup run and win just showed how much our mentality has changed.
