buzza
Deffo 3-4-3 Our wingbacksnhave enough pace to keep neto and madueke under wraps. Burn might be tasked with following palmer
Doops
Just now, Erikse said: I just don't see Howe ever going for that formation. 5-3-2 or 3-4-3 would at the very least be something that we have done before. My point was BDB has played left back countless times and only Gordon would be asked to play in the position that willock would have but I can see either happening

Dokko
1st thought on team news was ouch, that's lopsided and gonna be shite. 2nd thought was - Eddie won us a cup. See what happens. I'm probably the only one who would rather have Europa over CL simply as we can win it, and add to the collection. Plus it gives you CL next season and we'd be ready. Yorkie
Delighted to see Gordon back in there even if it's at the expense of Trippier, who'll be a miss. Fairly relaxed at this point. Have faith in the lads and the crowd to deliver.
buzza
Quite confident with this formation. Botman has enough pace to keep their forward stuhm

He has player there before for us, but only once I think. Possible, but unlikely imo. Edited May 11 by Erikse
nufc123
Could go either way this. Joelinton and Tripper out is some blow.

alexf
This game has turned to a complete unknown now. I was confident when I thought Joelinton might be back but even without just him I thought we'd be alright. Now it's a completely new lineup with players playing in a different role or position they have been recently and next to players they might not be familiar with. I'm assuming Murphy and Tino as wingbacks? Hoping it pays off but not much off the bench available to change if it's not working.
SAK
Isak Gordon Barnes Livramento Tonali Bruno Murphy Burn Botman Schar Pope So something like this?

Displayname
Aston Villa made the quarter finals, almost the semis. How are we not ready? Especially considering the money we are going to invest in the summer.
