Newcastle United 2-0 Chelsea - 11/05/25

It was a nervy one but such a massive win. Burn was great, Barnes a bit frustrating, Pope did well when called upon, pleased to find Miley's baby-face is made of bricks.

Let's just beat Arsenal next and be relaxed whilst we're tonking Everton on the last day!

We need a couple of better footballers. I’m sure we’ll acquire them in the summer.

We’re 3rd though, so we must be good at something at least.

That and our end product. If we made better decisions on 25% of our chances we would have been pushing Liverpool for the league.

Huge chance for us to wrap it up next week. If Arsenal win today they can take their foot off the pedal next week and if they lose they will likely be shakey.

Two big 90 mins ahead.

That second half reminded me of the time Liverpool went to 10 men and we fell apart. 😂

Can be hard sometimes for 11 against 10. It's a 'thing' that has been shown plenty, in the past.

The rear guard actions in the 2nd half will be useful battle testing for next week.

Don't really care about performances given the skewered circumstances in the 2nd half, they didn't coin 'its sometimes more difficult to play against ten men' just for us and they had nothing to lose by that point.
