Fwiw I'm from the North West also and anyone referring to "United" is instantly retorted to with "Which United?". I have never and will never refer to ManU as united, they are A United but not The United just because they're the media darlings.

Newcastle have beaten Arsenal three times this season, 1-0 in the PL and 2-0 in both legs of the League Cup semi-final.

No team has ever beaten the Gunners four times in a single campaign. Lets do it Lads. :indi:

Disagree, always think our CBs look a bit more comfortable when they have someone to directly engage.

Havertz is not a centre forward.

Overthinking it. Better if one of their better players is unavailable. Even if it just means they have less depth on the bench.

Feeling more confident about this the closer it gets. Think the lads will be bang up for it and will want to get the job done and dusted Sunday.

Definitely. Then it’s a pressure free lap of honour back at home v Everton.

Any Newcastle United fan referring to Man United as United needs telt.

Any fan of any club called with United in their name referring to Man United as just United needs telt.

Always done it, always will. NUFC fans referring to any other team as United need to locate their testicles and their pride.

I don't like that they realistically only need a point, whereas a point doesn't change much for us so we ideally need the 3 as we can't get 2 points from Everton, so would still need a win there anyways.

So there is that. Just hope we can frustrate them and then be super clinical when we get any chances. Basically a repeat of the cup games.

I know we’ve beat them 3 times this season, but I just have no hope for this game. Feels like they will be up for it as a final home game, and we’ll stop as soon as we go behind, conserving energy for the following week.

Feels there’s near zero to gain from a hard fought point, so if we are to go behind we’re better off taking off key players in 2nd half instead of wasting energy chasing an equaliser.

What a needlessly bleak take. If we lose we lose but c’mon man have a bit of belief in the boys!

How do you know a point is no good?

What if we draw Sunday then Chelsea draw to forest or Man u draw at home to villa? That point will be the one that gets us CL football.....
