On Dec. 2 we were 5th (3 points off 2nd) having beaten Chelsea and Man United the previous week, plus being robbed in Paris. By the end of the month we were 9th, out of the League Cup, and out of the Champions League.

This past season Liverpool were second on Oct. 28, a point behind City. By Christmas they were 12 points ahead of City and 6 ahead of Arsenal having also beaten Leverkusen, Real Madrid, and Girona in the CL and advancing to the LC semifinal. It was Nov/Dec when City completely fell apart last season.

I think it's a key stretch when you've already been through a couple months of multiple games a week and all that comes with it.

Yep - we lost six out of seven league games after playing Man Utd

Mate who's a scoucer saying Liverpool game on 23rd August being moved to 4pm kick on 24th August.

If Sky get first pick, then you’d assume the only possible rival would be Man City v Spurs.

But I suspect your mate will be proved correct.

Liverpool at home getting moved to the late Super Sunday slot?

Yes, it happened in 23/24, but we don’t speak of that game.

First three games on TV.

We’re fucking massive.

Despite more tv games than ever before, you won't find Sunderland on any until September at the earliest.

Magedia at it again.

The PL doesn't know its arse from its elbow.

Tottenham's fixture on the 28th might move if they're playing in the Champions League on the Tuesday, but ours against Arsenal on the same day won't?

No warning that us and Tottenham games will move to Sunday if we play on Thursday in CL MD1; I know that's not a TV change but come on, absolutely hopeless, don't give a fuck about supporters, and all the rest of it. Announced these 2 weeks late and they're still liable to move all over the place. Shambles
