I have absolutely loved watching the Wolte-meister in recent games. But find myself craving a bit of YW hunting around the box. Sounds slightly rude, accidental, but then again could also be absolutely filthy. NW foreplay, YW ramming it home!

"Also told that his priority right now is getting back playing for #NUFC rather than AFCON, as he wants to repay the faith the club showed in him this summer."

Let's see if that bit is true.

This is what I’ve consistently heard since he done it

Sky Sports:

Yoane Wissa will be back in around a month’s time. No ACL injury despite rumours.

Difficult to tell which game he’ll be back for exactly at this stage, but there’s early hope of it being the week of Atletico Bilbao/Brentford.

Understand that he could have been back sooner with injections in his knee but the player & club want to make sure he’s right with the proper rehab. Neither wanted to risk it for short-term gain.

Also told that his priority right now is getting back playing for Newcastle rather than AFCON, as he wants to repay the faith the club showed in him this summer.

Zero chance he is back for those games. He comes back then a week later he goes on international duty?

Makes more sense to wait until the city game and let him train with us over the IB.

Just need to see him playing for us, whenever that is will give us a massive lift & open so many more options for us

It's the right call to rest him and give him the time to recover properly.

Congo don't have any international fixtures in November.

Ok we can give him 20 mins hopefully in one of those games and get him up to speed over the internationals

The people making up the ACL rumours are weird. Why would the club get the knee x-ray’d and MRI’d. Then get him to see a specialist. All which would be able to identify that he had ruptured or severely damaged his ACL.

To then tell everyone it is something else, he’ll be back soon and then just keep pushing the return date back until spring/summer next year?

Not really sure what the club gain from doing that?!
