49 goals in 149 appearances across all competitions for Brentford.

That was 1 in 3 when I went to school.

He didn't start playing CF full time until 2 seasons ago and a lot of his appearances overall are as sub.

His 'per 90' stats are around 1 in 2, with last season being 1 in 1.5.

I thought if there's any game he can get himself up for it's Brentford - but no.  They must be laughing at us that we paid £55mil for him.

His work off the ball is the biggest disappointment. I was expecting a bit of a menace - some pace and persistence, but he's been absolutely shocking at it.

His pressing is slow & soft and he appears to have no stamina.

He's just been an absolute nothing player for us, so far.

Can’t begrudge the Brentford fans their fun with him

Aye they got the last laugh there. Got a better strike force without him and done the double over us.

I reckon he secretly loves Brentford and this was all a plan between the club and himself so they could absolutely rinse us. The strike was a strategic plan by the Brentford hierarchy.

Apparently the Brentford tea lady heard him saying "OK bosses, I'll pretend to go on strike and pledge allegiance to them Geordie cunts. Hopefully you'll get 40‐50 million out of the desperate cunts, I'll milk a mild injury to death, not play for 6 months and when I come back from my (cough) injury lol, I'll look lacklustre and play shite. I'll only score when it's clearly a meaningless goal as they'll already be losing and when it comes to playing against my beloved Brentford I'll make sure that any chances I get I hit with my wrong foot whilst keeping my eyes shut. The cunts will accept a sub par offer in the summer so I can come back and bang them in for you again". This is true because a bloke told me in the pub.

Disaster of a signing. Lazy bastard.

One point in the first half we had an element of pressing and their centre half ended up carrying ball 60 yards, as he was pissing about in the middle.

Don’t hold out much hope, but PIF need to save us from the PSR loss in the summer with this one.

Probably the most disappointing signing given he was supposed to be the reliable source of goal threat this season. Fairly disastrous for the overall plan.

Still would't write off any signing at this point in their first season mind, especially after an injury like he's had.

Still reserving judgement until I think he looks like he's recovered from his injury. If that's got nothing to do with how he's playing then it's a big worry.

He's been back from injury over two months now, and have had 18 appearances in that time. It's starting to become an Isak level of "no pre-season" comical Ali excuse.

He should be given more time imo, but it's dissapointing we have to give him this time considering he was supposed to be our most plug and play purchase of the summer.

Not a big fan of this guy so far, not sure if you can teach striking instinct. There have been glaring signs that for the most part, he does not have it.

Given his age and turning 30 by start of next season I think this is another one of the 'Premier League Proven' plan being a huge mistake last window.

I'm afraid we got another Papiss Cisse on our hands, just without him having his purple period with us.

But I'm also of the mind that we maybe shouldn't dismiss him too quickly considering the general state of our team.

But if neither Woltemade or Wissa picks up their form considerably the next few months one of them has to leave and we have to get another striker in the summer.

He doesn't even deserve to be talked about in the same sentence as Cisse at this stage.

Woltemade has time. He's still young and new to the league. Wissa really needed to hit the ground running. I know injuries and all that. I mean, we're stuck with him so can only hope this is just a blip.

I was really excited about Wissa. Many people on the forum said he was a fully-fledged striker who had scored lots of goals. So far, I haven't seen any of that.

Woltemade played very well for the first few months. Since Wissa joined the squad and is now usually in the starting eleven, Nick's form has plummeted. It could be a coincidence, I don't know.

He was not good again, but he still isn’t fit. I was more disappointed in Woltemade when he came on, passing the buck for the peno is a worrying sign, and he was so bad in the air. Poor guy looks shot to bits.

Did he give up the ball voluntarily, or did Bruno make it happen? On TV, it looked like Nick was going to shoot, didn't it? I must have missed something...

No chance he passed the buck, surely. Fairly mad suggestion, surely the captain said he was taking it.
