Next conveyor belt rung is: Lascelles, Krafth, Willock, Barnes and Murphy. Thats an incredible level in that list that shows how much the squad has changed and improved since Howe. More about future planning now I'd say as we have a lot of players about to age out still. We probably still haven't really sorted the GK with a long term signing, will need another CB given the age profile of the ones we've got, an upgrade on Willock in midfield and a fullback to replace Trippier.
