Reckon he's been reading online comments about him being porky? Think he deliberately kept his shirt off for a while to prove a point

Fair play looked in canny condition

Still shite

These people just reinforce the stereotype that footballers are not very bright.

To be fair, most of them just don’t care too much about football. It’s a job for them.

Wissa will no doubt have friends in the mackems team. Sadiki is a fellow international, isn’t he?

I have loads of friends who work for competitors at work. If they win a contract or an award, I’d probably like their LinkedIn post. I wouldn’t think “oh no, my customers at work might get really sad about this”.

We wrongly expect footballers to have the same passion and desire about the club as we do. Often they don’t.

I don’t expect them to have that.  I do think that they’d have a modicum of common fucking sense though.

And those of us who are professionals couldn’t just post or like what we want on social media.  It could cause problems.

Have you seen post match interviews or when they become pundits? Common sense is lacking by the bucketload.

:) oh aye, I’m not disagreeing.  It doesn’t render them immune from criticism though

I find the hatred abit strong? Ok so he got a bad injury, came back, looked bang average and has struggled to get into the team since due to poor form and Gordon being alright upfront.

It's not beyond the realms of possibility he could recover some form and fitness and still be a useful player in future if he stayed?

Unless there is some stories of really bad attitude or lack of applying himself to get fit or whatever I'm unaware of?

If it's the Instagram thing then I'd take it with a pinch of salt. These players don't even run their own social media accounts.

All those fucking morons applauding that shit fest is a bigger concern to me. Were they genuinely happy with what they'd just watched?

Probably felt forced to, he was the only cunt I seen happy to be there.
