Yep agreed - if he ends up missing out on both Arsenal and us because of shenanigans then that’s on him, his club and his camp. For once let us walk away strong and draw the line in the sand, make it be known a little more for the club who receives our offer that we have a limit.

Don’t think they have the money to spend without selling first. If ours is more straight forward, they will accept our bid.

Have stayed off this one mostly since being linked. But he was one of our manifestations from maybe 2 summers ago. Not sure we ever bid but we were linked strongly and we did our homework back then.

 

Either our scouting back then was so good that all those picks are still relevant, or the scouting since has been so poor that we’ve not come up with any new ideas.

 

But this kid will do ok.. the threat from further out will ensure defenders don’t stand off and that will open up space all over the pitch.

I’m not overly fussed on him personally, but does feel like the club needs a big win in the transfer market and this seems like the only option.
