Should have sold your ex off for a cut price of 120 million.

Keeping Isak will be like getting back with an ex. It'll be a good 6 months and we'll have hope It'll continue going on. Then one day we'll find him in bed with another man. Whore.

Know exactly the feels of this. Although it took 6 months for my ex to find me in bed with another man. The whore

So reports Sesko has accepted the Newcastle project.

A bid goes in today, and up until now it hasn't been rejected or accepted.

Meanwhile messages insisting that Man Utd are still involved and ready to enter the bidding, but still nothing concrete from them.

This all reads like Leipzig are after something extra to seal this deal, either more money upfront or some sort of sell on clause perhaps, and are trying to apply pressure for that.

If that's correct, hopefully we can resolve things soon.

This all has a bad smell for me, if a bid is made its either accepted or rejected as per the Liverpool Isak bid.  The longer this takes its clear that we're being used...... again

I'd imagine Sesko is waiting for Manure to match what we're offering, if not to him, to his club. Then its a straight up choice for him, which unfortunately goes one way. We just had to hope Manure can't make the moves needed right now, and his club tell him it's now or next season.

Seems to be that Sesko prefers Man United over us so you can see it is very much in his interests to wait and see if they match our offer. From a Man U perspective therefore they know they do not need to rush. This leaves us stuck as we don’t know if we can get him or not and it also means we (hopefully) will refuse to sell Isak to Liverpool. It is very much in Man U interests (whether they want him or not) to do nothing until they have to.

If the bid was fully accepted by Leipzig and there was a delay then I'd agree with you.

However, the delay appears to be from Leipzig's end instead, in accepting the bid.

We've met the fee requested, but I think they are likely after more favourable payment terms or some sort of clause added.

Don't understand how any sane man could prefer Man Utd, that's like standing in line to ruin your career. He should ask himself, Where is Isak and where is Hojlund.

I think our best hope is that Leipzig give ManU a deadline

Pretty standard stuff when more than one club are still interested. He and Leipzig are obviously going to want the best possible deal.  No reason to expect either to snap our hands off just because it is Newcastle United.  Which does not necessarily mean he/they would prefer Man Utd.

He's at Manchester United mate, 3 years younger than Isak with a better trophy to his name and a European final.

He also scored more Champions League goals as a 20 year old for Man United than Isak has in his whole career.

That's where Hojlund is.

Would you take a straight swap deal?

Im loving this Man Utd Hojlund worship, I reckon he's absolute.dog shit, the longer he stays the better.

Watkins is better suited because he's old and tired, just like the rest of their squad and stadium, the great club Ferguson built is decaying into dust swamped by debt and no European football.

Actually think Hojland is the exact warning signing a player like Sesko should be looking at. Maybe this is eventually going to change with Amorim, but the coaching (or lack of) he has received, and the general chaos is the club has completely stalled his development.

Like I say, could change under Amorim. Or just as likely m Amorim is gone by Xmas.
