We tried to sign Pedro and Hugo before all this Isak shit as a massive upgrade on Wilson. That better not have changed. I want Isak gone, but only after we've shown our own muscle by keeping him for one more season, and not to fucking Liverpool.

Might be wissa turning back up to training villa telling Watkins is not for sale we have had to increase our efforts on this deal.

Certainly if you believe X he's a life long manu fan and only wants them social media can sour your opinion of a player if you believe everything that's peddled.

The noise about Sesko has always been he was a Man United fan etc. but I did think it was odd we’d still hung around if he was dead set on them.

Slovenia is a small place so there’s every chance a local journalist will get the scoop. Romano is clearly told what people want to spin, I’d love to see his face if this is true and he missed out on it.

Would rather keep Isak away from Liverpool tbh, so would rather it was wrong

Ideally this is us future proofing ourselves against that cunts move next season.

I’d honestly rather keep Isak one last season unless it’s to have both of them and Wissa is not happening

I think 99% of supporters were prepared for him to leave next summer.

If  (and it's a big if) we get Sesko in, we should dig our heels in and keep Isak for another 12 months regardless. Worst-case scenario he can sulk on the bench whilst Sesko plays ahead of him.

It's imperative for the "project" that we're not seen to instantly cave in to the duplicitous tactics of one of the "Super League" clubs whenever they fancy poaching one of our players. If Isak can force a move within a week then who's to say that Tonali doesn't try the same next summer?

If the ultimate goal is to become the "destination" then folding under the slightest bit of player/agent/media pressure is not the way to go.

Hope we don't, otherwise Isak is gone  :weep:

Most likely but Sesko, Ramsdale, Wissa, elanga and a top class centre half the Isak money will afford us and the window is looking better. Just a shame Isak going to those cunts. He’s always good for a groin strain

Ideal scenario. I just can’t see us affording Sesko and all the other business without selling Isak

Probably not as much as they’ll rotate him a lot more and look after him - to be honest we flog the shit out of him.

IF this happens, and we get Wissa too, I’d still be pushing for the £150m and wouldn’t be doing any deal with them until after we play them. A top class CB and Gallagher would just about save the window, for me. A lot to happen for that though.
