Until wor Benny is in for his medical I'm not believing any old shite, regardless of how legit the source apparently is.

Perhaps not been discussed much, but with the style of our wingers (less technical, more pace), I actually think it fits a big lump up top like.

Definitely not opposed. Wonder what a 4-4 fackin' 2 would look like with Šeško/Isak if scousers don't come back in.

I’m flabbergasted if this is true, I was sure we wouldn’t be seriously considered given how the summer has gone. Eddie can turn him into a machine, just as he did Isak. Isak can go back to being the impotent pre-Howe version of himself if he so wishes (and the monies are paid).

Sorry to be that guy but if we buy Sesko and sell Isak we are still at a massive net loss as Sesko isn't close in terms of ability.

The fee is too much as well.

Depends if a combo of Sesko and Wissa produces a greater output together than Isak alone (bare in mind Wilson produced nothing last season).

no, if we get Sesko, it looks like we would be going with Sesko and Isak for the coming season. Who is the main ST is up to Eddie. It should be the end of Wissa link though.

I don’t like Sesko but I do admit he has the potential to be an excellent aerial threat which gives us extra option. The front line of Gordon/ Barnes Sesko/Isak and Elanga/Murphy is probably the best we ever had in EPL era.

Just do it.

And ignored because they don't fit the cartel's paid narrative eh?

Ignored because it makes Craig Hope look completely out of the loop if true

Sesko would probably be Isaks long term replacement but can see us going g with both this season while Sesko settles in.

Feels like we fell in a bucket of thumbs in the last 24hrs and came out sucking a tit.

Still not sure on this lad.  Don't have a good feeling about him but hopefully people will be quoting these posts in a years time mugging me off for not knowing a baller when I see one.

Physically and technically his potential is unrivalled amongst the up and coming young strikers. He's as exciting a prospect as Isak was.

However, although I still think he'll be at least a solid performer from the outset, he'll still need some bringing along, and may have some inconsistency, and that means that we will absolutely need to have an experienced Premier League performer that is capable of leading the line, but that will also be willing to play a secondary role as Sesko emerges.

Wissa is absolutely perfect for that experienced striker role, and so we have to make that deal happen if Sesko comes in.

I do reckon if we are able to get both Sesko and Wissa that Isak will likely be sold. For me personally if we do get those two in I really couldn't give a damn what happens with Isak and his ropey groin.

In my opinion trading Isak and Wilson for Wissa and Sesko is a significant improvement in our front line options.

100% agree with this.

Add in having to re-integrate Isak if he stayed could be iffy for squad morale. Potential in Sesko + an experienced striker is the way to go and Wissa is the perfect proven candidate for that.
