They signed him for 32m any more than 40-45m is ridiculous.

Ideally a loan to buy. He has certainly done nothing to warrant a price tag double what they paid, let alone nearly triple.

At a reasonable price he could be a good signing. Not confident Chelsea are letting him go on the cheap. They were reasonably kind to us with Hall though.

Be mad if we signed him and after a 5 in 7 spell the Gallowgate burst out a

I’m sorry Nick Jackson

Your goals are for real

Never meant to doubt your shooting guy

I apologise a million times

 There’s a very exciting player there that a manager known for developing and getting the best out of young players would relish working with.

I'm terrified to spend 80 million on a project though. Let's just load up on Brazilians, man. Genuinely just sign ten brazilians and let them live with Bruno or sommat. @Flip lend a hand ffs.

Time to nail my opinion to the mast.

Jackson for reasonable money as a rotation option is fine although this semes unrealistic.

Jackson for big money as an isak replacement is terrible.

Let's see how it plays out.

Hate the idea of supporting Chelsea's abhorrent business model. Fuck them and everything they're doing.

Let them fucking rot with their squad of 50 players in big contracts, don't validate and enable them. Genuinely sickening that we're considering this.

Nobody should touch a Chelsea reject unless it's to buy them at a loss.

Unfortunately I presume we have to play the game (of thrones) to a certain extent. We need to be very VERY calculated if we are to find ways to catch up. Having workable relationships with the big 6 and other PL clubs is paramount really. As much as I'd love to go all in fuck everyone. That's what we will feel like behind closed doors lol

Fuck signing this absolute joker.  We’ll just cement our place as total cucks if we’re buying this kind of shite cast off.

When do Tonali, Livramento, Bruno and Gordon leave as they won’t put up with this shite for long.

Not sure £35m for a teenage full back is being kind, mind

What's the point of paying 80m for Jackson and then saying "oh, Eddie will make him a quality player yet".

For 80m he should already be an established quality player.

I feel we ask too much of Eddie sometimes. The man is not Jesus Christ. He will not be able to turn water into wine every single time.

For context I think for £40-£50M he'd be a good signing, however they doubled their money on Maudeke who wasn't exactly a raving success and the market for wingers isn't as saturated as strikers. They will easily fetch £70M + for Jackson which honestly is bonkers.

Only if us or Saudi buy him they will. No chance anyone with a brain pays that much for him.

I still don’t understand why don’t just go and find the next Jackson.

Its not even the next Isak, just a Jackson, whom Chelsea paid 30m and deemed not good enough, and now ask us for 70m?

ridiculous

In insolation this would be a good signing for anything below £45m but the fact he’ll

be replacing Isak means I’ll be watching a different sport next season.

Jackson is a pressing monster and perfect foil for Howe's brand of football, having said that he can't hit a barn door and what's the point in a striker that doesn't know where the net is? There's still better options out there for a similar price, Chelsea will have us over a barrel, it feels like a large chunk of PSR to go backwards.
