I’d bite their hand off for £50m, I think he would really suit our style of play with his pace, pressing, and workrate. He needs some work in other areas but that’s why we have Eddie Howe.

My only issue is I don’t want to give them money. I fucking despise them and they shouldn’t be rewarded for the distortion they’ve created in the market and the constant gaming of the system, especially when they were owned by an oligarch money launderer

So a bit like Osula. Eddie's not improved him yet.

It seems like a choice between Wissa and Jackson to me, Wissa is the short term replacement that will guarantee goals now, Jackson has the potential to be better but we need certainty from Wilsons replacement for me and we can't take both and have no strikers for the most important run of games in the season.

Offer the asking price as long as they agree to take him off the market and not accept any more viewings.

Then do a player buying survey and try to knock off another 10% because of amber and red risks after a fee is agreed

This isn't playing on Chelsea's buy and sell game though, he's been a first team regular for 2 years but now have alternatives so he's available.

He's 1 in 2 G/A. I'd be alright with it at 50m, just seems unlikely

I think it would be a terrible move personally.

He had a good first season, particularly in the league, but last year he regressed for 1 in 3 in the league with a few goals in the Conference League. There's a reason Chelsea went for two forwards this summer and are now binning him off. You're basically buying a slightly younger version of Wissa without the positional versatility.

I'm not against the idea of rehabbing players either, we've done it with Sandro, but if he comes here I'd put a crisp five pound note down that he'll be a disappointment. His red card here was another nail in the coffin for me. His attitude seems honking, and even if he's great at pressing, I don't see a proper physical presence in him.

Sky Sports saying Chelsea want £48M and Romano saying they want £80M. I wonder why he would say such a thing?! *Money* 😂

You think Chelsea paid him to say they want £80m for him? Why would they say something different to Sky?

Sort of get why conspiracies around agents paying him pop up, but clubs paying him to post what their asking price is?

Get all three, Jackson Wissa and Samu. Osula out on loan. 130m all in. Around what we’ll get for Isak.

would actually give us a bit of everything. Wissa is wily fox in the box, Samu is powerful and Jackson is fast

we do need the bodies and Wissa can also cover RW

then 1 each of Paqueta/gallagher and thiaw/guehi/scalvini

and it rounds off the window nicely.

Getting 3 strikers isn't crazy. Having a squad with 4 strikers in it used to be standard. 5 at one point.

Especially when a couple of the strikers can also play wide or maybe drop deep. I would however be astounded if we managed to bring 3 in. Not least when we need another CB and RB.
