They are bang on. There is only really us and Villa that are truly tested by PSR at the top end. Forest I guess but I can't see them lasting.

Everyone's reaction to Wissa at first was shocking. We could be signing a bloke that scored 19 goals in the league and we've got this other cunt who scored more than that (Cunt sack) We should have been excited but alot weren't as it could hamstring us 4/5 years down the line

It’s absolutely ridiculous and it’s ruining the game for all but the 6 clubs who have engineered this situation for their own benefit

If a player fits your team and would be a valuable member of your squad then it shouldn’t matter one solitary fuck how old they are or what their future resale value will be or whether they were home grown

The game is fucked

This. I have no particular love for Villa, though I have no particular hate for them either.

They sold Grealish not that long ago for £100m, they also sold Duran for at least £80m in January.

They have mega rich owners, and are a historic club. They used to be up there for honours before the top 6 came along with their money and pushed them down the peking order.

They are expanding Villa Park, and creating a Stack like fanzone, and seem to get the same sponsorships as us. Heck, one of their owners owns something like 8% of Adidas who provide Liverpool, Man Utd, and Arsenal a great chunk of their money.

They aren’t going to suddenly go bust, yet they have to continue selling players.

It’s all done to keep them down.

Every time Adidas announce a new deal with a cartel club, do Villa fans go mad,  questioning where they really lie in the priorities of the owners?

Heck isn't the owner, he was the CEO until the summer, he's now gone to Liv golf.

Naseef Sawiris is the owner who is the largest individual shareholder in Adidas.

I saw the other day we've raised something like 280m in sales in the last few years. And that doesn't inc Ramsey. What's more much of that sum is home grown players.

Holy shit, I said Heck as in the word heck, not the name.

I thought you were winding me up by saying that you had a CEO named Heck, I had to Google it.

Remember Big Hec, top lad. RIP.

Aye, did some incredible work for charity, must've raised an absolute fortune over the years.  Seem to recall that no news article about him was complete without referencing his shoe size, he had something like size 18 feet.

Brilliant guy, RIP.

Looks comfortable on the ball and press resistant, seems to have a level head which will be important as I think he will have a big role this season to close out games with his injection of pace in the second half. Something willock should be doing, but seems incapable of now.
