Not really fussed about League Cup this year. Been to two finals, won it. FA Cup is the competition I want us to go all the way in.

Good place to play Kuol, Harrison, Vakhtang etc

Well because we have a very intensive playing style that will fast drain the players energy when playing twice a week for a whole season.

Again I'm not sure of your point. We have 2 realistic chances of winning a trophy this season. Why throw one away?

I dont't have any other points than what I just said.

Trophies aren't everything to me, would rather want a semi-final in the CL than another League cup win.

If we go for both cups I'm afraid we wont have the chance of either "achievements"

A SF isn’t an ‘achievement’ in comparison to a trophy

Guess I got a weird opinion on the matter.

Probably wouldn't stick with Newcastle for 30 years as a foreign fan if trophies were that important to me lol.

In that case we are different then. I've always been on the "I want to see us win something" side of the fence rather than "I'd rather finish top 4" so we'll always disagree on this one.

I'll always remember being there to see us win the League Cup Final. Best day pf my NUFC supporting life by an absolute mile. Watching us lose to Everton to qualify for the CL a couple of months later didn't even come close.

Also think you might be deluding yourself a bit if you think we're capable of making the Champions League Semi Finals, regardless of how long we stay in the League Cup.

I'm never going to deny that there is a chance that I'm deluding myself when it comes to Newcastle, but I really do think we have a chance to get far in the CL. Aston Villa almost made it to the semis, don't see why we can't.

It’s not throwing it, as Howe has never thrown cup games. But it’s if we went out away to say Brentford because we went with a starting XI of:

Ramsdale: Trippier, Thaiw, Botman, Murphy: Miley, Willock, Ramsey: Murphy, Osula, Gordon

I’m not losing much sleep, as it will be quickly followed by a more important league game and another big UCL game.

Wycombe the only team we’ve never played?

Not played Lincoln since 1967 from what I can see like.
