Highlights look like he loves playing with his back to goal, which I like. The one weakness in Isak's game is that he can't really act as a target man. You can't play it long or direct to him and expect him to back into a CB and hold the ball. He's more of an elegant to-feet player. I think the cup semi final and final were pretty much the only times last year when he made any real effort to challenge opposing CBs for long balls. It means we don't have an easy out ball if we get pressed up the pitch. And as brilliant as Isak is at lots of things, that can be a problem in a one striker system. This guy looks like he loves that shit, which could work to release our wingers. Plus he's clearly got some skillz [with a 'z' no less] & looks like he's prepared to mix it physically. Would be nice if we have another striker willing to play so it doesn't fall all on him though. One other thing - he actually has played very few minutes, Last 2 years only about 2800 minutes in the league. It does make his scoring record look better, but then you also wonder why he made so many sub apppearences if he's such a talent? Not a huge sample size to look at. Anyway, that's for another day.
