Amazing news and quite the coup.

Doubt we would have pulled this off if we had moved for him earlier in the window.

Surprisingly Bayern ended up messing up their move for him and pissing Stuttgart off and likely pissing the player off to some extent as well, and it's paid off massively for Newcastle.

Staying calm and patient after missing out on other targets has paid off for the guys working on getting players in. Happy for them.

Always great to see the bedwetters end up in the mud too, as this place has really been stinking of piss the last few days, so get those sheets washed please!

Left to some on here we'd have been signing Hojlund such was the head loss going on!

Come on lad we where all panicking. 😂

I heard someone saying that he'd flown in tonight because the club are desperate to have him registered in time for Leeds.

Any update on this? Would be incredible to have him already this Saturday

Video posted last night of him outside a Quayside hotel. Alongside the NUFC security guy.

The name Woltemade is a Low German form of the name Woltemate, which means "light-hearted" or "of a good disposition." It originates from Germany and is connected to the Germanic words for "well" or "good" and "mind" or "disposition."

Isak, on the other hand, means 'frickin' arsehole'

12 noon the cut off. They are going to have to start the medical at 6am and have all the contracts deets drawn up to get that rushed through.

Contract's not a big deal, They're mainly standard for all players (PFA agreed), the only parts that are player specific are the salary bits and bonuses/release clauses if any. Shouldn't take long tbh.

I love etymology.

He theoretically became available ten days ago so we must have put the feelers out during that period, whilst making one last pursuit for a PL star - which was always the preferred option. When Wolves slammed the door we engaged Stuttgart and bish bash bosh.

I saw it said - The club's private plane that was in Milan during the Thiaw negotiations evidently brought back whoever was negotiating via a stop in Stuttgart 🤷‍♂️

In the same way Stuttgart didn't want to sell to Bayern and have agreed to sell to us, I hope we get a similar situation where a foreign club comes in for Isak for the right fee.

Be the best window ever if a club from abroad swooped in for Isak now but I just can’t see it. Thats why I think he should be kept till at least January

Wild these negotiations could have been going on that long with no journo getting the scoop till it was pretty much done.

I doubt much negotiation took place at all tbh. We probably asked them how much it would take and got it done.

Wonder if Strand Larsen was this summers Barella. Tonali was pretty much done in the background and out the clue

In a era where engagement and rehashed tweets are non stop - this signing has been refreshing. I hope clubs start to do this in future, these shitty twitter news aggregators have taken out the fun in the surprise element of football

Funny how none of the twitter ITK's saw this coming either

Going to ask the Mods to ban me for the next summer transfer window. I’m not on Twitter or any social media so at least I can control not having to engage with any of that. It’s probably up there in the top three worst things about football right now. Just toxic clickbait / ragebait for the purpose of making some of the worst people going richer

You had me at Giroud… 😍

Happy to watch this lad with a fresh pair of eyes within our team as wasn’t struck on him the two games I saw him in the Euros. Hope he’s a massive success for us as that’s a big fee 🤞🏻

Trust in Howe as always...

Really, he leapt out to me, remember thinking "god, I'd love him here" but never suspected it was possible 🤷‍♂️
