Got bullied today and felt like his worse game for us so far, however it's all part of his adjustment period and happy it happened at a game that we ended up winning.

They were aloud to wrap their arms around him and literally pin him in place tbf

He showed his strength when he gently just launched Iwobi to the deck. He made him look like a child.

He's fucking class. He got no protection whatsoever and he had to play not just against a couple of rugby players, but a ref that was like "Aye sound, that's fine"

We need to kick up a fuss, if refs get this stupid idea in their heads that tall=higher threshold for a foul, it won't change until we highlight how stupid it is.

Love him. He could set my house on fire, slash my tyres and brick my mam's windows and I don't think I could ever be annoyed with him. Would just want to ruffle his hair, pinch his cheeks and call him a wee scamp.

He's the biggest wee scamp I've ever met... 🤣

Was his poorest game for us today imo but he still had some quality touches.

The physicality he's having to put up is absolutely out of hand. Refs looking at him locked up in actual bear hugs for multiple seconds and doing nothing about it.

It was getting beyond a joke at the match - they both literally grabbed him and was quite clear, but the ref just ignored it. More annoying was the foul given against Gordon when Traore shouldered into him.

A few things didn't come off for him, but probably also the team had an inability to string passes together which in effect won't suit his game. A couple of times he went for the cute flick when simple option would have been better, but he will learn.

I think my only gripe with him is he's very much a creative striker and not really an instinctive one.

Not his best game today but his ability to bring others into the game and switch the momentum of a phase of play with a single touch is superb.

He’s Teddy Sherringham no better comparison for me. Problem being Howe doesn’t play with a 10 and he’s crying out for an Andy Cole type striker to link up with.

Maybe we have one but his country ran him ragged causing him to get injured. A big money striker yet to play a single fucking minute. He has to take some of the blame himself for letting his diddy country run him ragged.

I firmly believe if Wissa was fit at the start of the season we'd be much higher up the league, but if that had happened then it's likely Wolf wouldn't have been thrown in straight away.

Aye I was there too - it's good that the crowd are already wise to it and getting on the ref early, not that it's helping much atm.

Yeah it was a bit scrappy and didn't suit him much, that and a bit of tiredness maybe.

I'm always happy for him to try a flick cos when it comes off then it can cause an unexpected transition in play and has a high potential upside. He'll have games like today where not many do come off but it beats safe backwards passes when we're trying to break a team down.

Just caught up on the highlights; he's got to bury that chance early on, like. That's twice he's done that, with hitting the woodwork from close range against Arsenal too. The guy's a joy to watch but I'm not convinced he's a goalscorer, really need Wissa back and firing ASAP to take the load off him.

He was pretty awful second in all honesty, offered not much.  Should've been hooked earlier.

Not my type of forward TBH. Going to be interesting if him and Wissa rotate or combine.

Still too lightweight when up against PL CH’s.

Still a little worried he never finds himself in shooting positions.

2025/26 a WIP. He’s got off to a good start but see him flourishing more in the UCL this season. Wanting him to well though.

Nick didn't really get into the game today. When his shot hits the post and goes into the goal, he's making a big splash. Unfortunately, it was his weakest performance so far. His passes were still good, but unfortunately, less than usual. The way he's constantly being held back by the defenders is outrageous; the referees need to finally take action.
