“Who was primarily responsible for hiring Woltemade?”

“Who discovered Big Nick for Toon?”

Think looking at how quickly @Fak got this thread going & completely out of the blue, he must have had a hand in this!

I've said on here for 4 or 5 years now that we should be signing Woltemade but nobody listened.

Another really good performance last night. Did think he may be rested, but he started and put in a really good shift and did well for his goal. :)  Again, his style, movement and control fascinate me, as a fellow 'big man'.

Well done, big lad

6 goals and we're still yet to see him strike a ball, penalty aside. Some going. Especially for someone we were told wasn't going to be a target man. The fact that it is genuinely such a small part of his game, but he's constantly popping up with those goals, is great.

I was watching him in the shooting drill during the warm-up and his efforts from anything over 6 yards out were absolutely hideous.

It's clearly something he's going to have to work on, and he will. May the gods bestow Nick an 18-yard thunderbastard on Sunday.

He tried a couple of runs last night which was something that he did a lot on his highlights before signing.

With shooting, I think one factor is that he's too clever to just blast the ball into a defender, so if he thinks the shot will be blocked he'll try to take another touch or move. Where some players would just be happy to get a shot off and see it blocked.

I want him to score every kind of goal (many times).

Long range into top corner.

Long range daisy cutter.

Direct from free kick.

Overhead kick.

Bicycle kick.

One of those mazy Messi runs like at the Euros for Germany.

A stunning volley.

A diving header.

A Beckham halfway line lob.

A one on one with the goalie.

A two yard tap in.

A couple that only Matt Le Tissier scored.

A scorpion.

A Bergkamp.
