Agreed being isolated up top with 3 on him at times I do feel sorry for him when he has no one to lay it off to. I know holding the ball for others to catch up is important but we didn't always attack as a "pack" at times wondering if thats the team, the set up or a confidence thing. Thankfully that silky stuff does appear at least two or three times a game, and he does pose some threat in the box. Just gasping for him to be second choice tbh. Makes the press more difficult to implement, and means we inevitably end up a few yards deeper than we should be. That's my main issue with him really. Obviously he has technical quality. Doctor Zaius Posted December 2, 2025 Share Posted December 2, 2025 Thought it was his poorest game for us, yet he still shows some great touches and grafts hard. He does need to be stronger in holding the ball up, but why does he never seem to get into scoring positions that often? Is it the service? The movement?
