He looked class in the first few games so I absolutely don't buy this "he can't work here" narrative. We wont change our system to play to his strengths? I can see that narrative. Teams quickly worked out that he’s slow and weak and can easily be bullied, he’ll need to do a lot of gym work and get a more aggressive attitude if he wants to replicate that form IMO. andycap Posted February 28 Share Posted February 28 Should be playing a 4-2-3-1 consistently with him playing the 10 role or number 9. But we haven't tried it after the Bournemouth Cup game.
