Couple of originally Sunderland stalwarts who ended up loved by both fan bases. Doesn’t happen very often; Lee Clark going other way was fantastic for them, player of the season I think, but whole thing was somewhat tainted by the ending! But even with Barnes and Elanga in the equation, until I have seen it working the confidence is going to be less than it could be. There's hints of it gelling, it just hasn't quite happened yet.
