Is everyone ok? Feel like the mood is so downbeat. We've had shit spells before under Howe and he's always turned it around. I'm excited about tonight, I'm excited about potentially retaining a Cup. Think we all need a dose of Vitamin D and a quick look back at cup performances pre-2020.

Vitamin D, SAD light and cowies

The way this season is going, I can't see us beating Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City or even Palace over two legs so can't say I'd be devastated if we lost tonight as I don't have the same belief that we can win the whole thing again.

That's the spirit.

This would have been an even better post yesterday when the weather was pretty good and a few seemed like they could have done with logging out and going for a walk

When the draw was made I thought it was a great draw as it was a chance to get straight back on the horse if we did lose to that lot, as opposed to having to go to the Etihad or Emirates, and if we'd won it'd be bouncing anyway, so likewise looking forward to it.

Can we win the league - no

Can we win the league cup - good chance

Can we win the champions league - almost certainly not

Can we win the FA cup - possibly

Can we finish high enough in the league to qualify for Europe - possibly

So tonight means shitloads. Up there with one of the most important games we'll play this season.

If we're not chomping at the bit both on the pitch and in the stands tonight, then there's something seriously wrong with our team and the fans.

We need to be like rabid dogs.

It’ll be dead sadly mate.

20:15 kick off, bitter cold and on the back of a gutless derby defeat. I’d be lying if I was said I was as up for this as Leicester in 22/23.

Factor in the atmosphere is usually poor these days and it doesn’t look good.

It’ll be a tepid game to boot, if the league game was out to go by.

9 degrees at KO.

So fucking what? You support the team through the good and bad. Don’t bother getting into the semis because we’ve been a bit crap this season?

Are we just assuming these bad performances will continue for the foreseeable and all? Why not just get into the semis and then see. Anything can happen.

Bunch of absolute melts.

Stop interrupting the misery fest, man.

It's a great draw, Fulham are also weakened a bit by AFCON.

Wissa starts, crowd reacts to the mackems result by roaring the team to a win.

Hearing shit like this myself. Not arsed about getting to the semi's as we'll get knocked anyway.

What a fucking negative pathetic loser mentality ffs.

What has our fanbase become? Exactly what I expected it to become after a bit of success. Self-entitled, spoilt bastards.

I guarantee these people not arsed about tonight will be the first ones complaining if we do get knocked out. [emoji38]

I can’t wait for tonight. We have a new puppy in the family and between now and then all her poo needs to be done so I can pop her in the crate with the blanket over it for the match. She may need some ear plugs. Hopefully positive noises coming from me [emoji38]

Tino Hall Tonali Woltemade could all probs do with a rest, interesting to see what team is tonight, probs can't rest Tino or hall unless maybe those goes to right back and lascelles comes in.

With Eddie saying Wissa cant last a full 90 yet could see Gordon through middle but would rather Wissa starts and Woltemade to finish the rest of the game

We need a stonking good, in your face performance to even begin making up for the shit show over the weekend. Wissa up top, and some fucking runs behind the opposition defence which Schar should enable and the headband boys watching from the bench.

Anything less would entrenched the view that there some serious questions that need to be asked about this bunch, players and management both.

What about if it's close but we still win?
