It's on TAFKA Hippy Green. Nice if small boozer, there's a lad on here works there.

I’m definitely now inspired to pay it a visit on my next trip home - I sometimes used to go to the George in old eldon square despite the fact it was shit.  Old Eldon Square would be a great spot for a couple of decent pubs.

I'm not brave enough to go in, the less pathetic posters will have to fill you in.

I’m sure they won’t bite IW.  Though there is still no cure for rabies, so probably not worth the risk in case they do.

What are we expecting for the lineup tonight? Wissa, Elanga, Miley to come in ? Maybe Ramsey for Tonali ?

I reckon

Pope

Miley - Thiaw - Botman - Hall

Ramsey - Bruno - Joelinton

Barnes - Wissa - Gordon

Perhaps Willock for one of Joelinton/Barnes too. Can’t see how we start Elanga atm.

In terms of the game I would really like us to try and shoot more tonight. Take some punts from 20-25 yards, let Wissa gamble on the rebounds, it seems to be the main thing he’s good for.

Not having a shot on target until the 80th minute against Wolves/Sa really was criminal and I hope it’s been highlighted in the coaching staff’s analysis.

I don’t even remember a pub called the wobbly duck!

Right up amongst the very best boozers in town. That's based primarily on the variety and quality of the beers, though a cosy good atmosphere place too, which overflows onto the square most match days.

And yes the Garter is still as rough as fuck [emoji38]

I'm not even sure we will change that much from Sunday.  But I hope we do.  Miley for Trippier seems nailed on.  I'd also like to see Ramsey get a go.

See my post in the tactics thread if you can be arsed.  We very rarely seem to work openings to get shots away from distance.  Always just rushed off the back of a deflection or clearance and the ball falling to one of our players.  We seem to get a lot of shots blocked and we don't put players around the edge of the box to set them for the shot.  I think Tonali and when he's back in midfield, Miley.  Should be getting more long shots off.  As they both strike a ball well.

Plenty fans in town. Popworld with a PSV flag in the window already.  👍

Class. Love when football fans congregate in another city, pissed up and enjoying themselves.

Aye I wish I was out on the piss today. It's all very good natured in the Bigg Market.  So far anyway.

The Dutch are class fans as well. Remember NAC Breda fans being great when they came here.

It would’ve been good to play more than one team in eight that we haven’t before in recent memory, but that isn’t the same as not ‘being up for it’.  We don’t play PSV every week, and they’re a big European club - anyone who doesn’t find European football exciting is a head-scratcher for me.  Half the point of finishing high up the top flight table is this as a reward.

100%

The reason I was so stressed on the final day last season was because I wanted us to finish 5th and qualify for the Champions League. Why not enjoy it while we've got it?
