Sounds crazy considering they haven’t beat us and we whalloped them but after the corruption at their place twice it would’ve been good to give them another hiding as feels like we owe them one
GideonShandy
As it turns out, we'd still have finished 12th if we'd lost. But that was a performance to be proud of nonetheless. Another Eddie Howe master class. Played the best team in Europe to a standstill at their place. Well done to all.

We could have had them at our place. Chelsea & Liverpool are my worries. Don't think the European clubs are used to our intensity.

BrianSwan
Great performance. PL teams seem like they have way more lungs than european counterparts this year. Always the stronger teams late game.
Sir Joel Inton
Is Dembele really that good? Every time I’ve seen him he plays like Beto.
OoOGazOoO
Got to say when I saw the line-up and formation I thought we were in for a hiding and the opening stages did nothing to make me think differently. But my days, hats off to the players and staff, that was a gutsy, very good performance, we took it to them and if we were a bit more clinical we could have come away with a win. Fair lay to them. GeordieDazzler
Hilarious how much PSG bottled the physical battle. Every corner short and not a single long throw. Think Macca pointed out second half they were basically not contesting high balls against Botman, Burn etc.

Feel like they blew their load on trying to spank us early, 'dragged them down' feels like you're doing us a bit injustice, not like we kicked them off the park or out. We grew into it after being caught in the headlights at first. All the more sweeter after the early disgusting decisions which put us cleanly on the back foot. I was quite relieved we were only one down when the whistle went at half time.

We weren’t one down But yeah the first twenty was a bit hairy but after that they struggled with our physicality a bit or just chose not to engage with it. Aye my bad we scored in extra time at the end of the first half. I was thinking at the time if we can keep it to 1-0 we will still be in it.

alexf
Excellent performance I thought. Started a bit rabbit in headlights and looked like it could be a hiding after the first ten minutes. But the lads caught up to the speed of the game and grew into it. Epitomised by Miley really, was getting shredded for pace but stuck to his task and recovered really well. Was pleased with the line up before the game for many reasons, one being we needed to try something different for away games and two, it gave the likes of Willock, Ramsey, Elanga the chance to play themselves into form and suddenly they look like stronger options to use again. Gutted we didn't get the win and automatic top 8 but pleased with the performance and the potential to improve our away form for the remainder of the season. Keefaz
Shocked they don't have a better backup keeper than that. He looked fucking dreadful. Although, he did pull off a good save when needed, I suppose.

He was second choice last season, their first choice was bought in the summer before they sold Donarumma. That was why Donarumma was available as he got demoted.
