We have problems consistently finishing chances, our midfield can get played through too easily, we can be suspect at the back especially because of Trippier, but there is a belief and confidence that didn't exist for much of the season. TheEntertainer Posted February 21 Share Posted February 21 Some poor decisions from the ref at the end there when they were clearly diving every time Joe went near them, I guess he should be more careful but there was obviously no foul with the benefit of the tv replay. We looked much worse after we made the changes, Murphy didn't look quick enough to cause a problem and Osula did nothing. I guess people need a rest though. Really good performance though, can't complain about a 2-1 defeat at the Etihad where the crowd are baying for the fulltime whistle to blow to save them. Checko Posted February 21 Share Posted February 21 Didn't see the first half. Second half we were able to get pressure and stop them just boring the game out for the whole half. Unfortunately none of the set pieces came to anything. Just needed one to work. Realistically they looked very comfortable defensively and had pretty much all the chances but the performance was decent from what I saw. Shame we didn't have a Cherki or Foden to bring on. We really need another playmaker as we had a couple of opportunities to make a chance but the pass wasn't made. Good news is at least Arteta will be bricking it!
