Watching today I never noticed how much city push players and get away with it. Shirt pulling goes unnoticed aswell.

Never seen Bernardo Silva in the last three or four seasons? He pushes the boundaries every single game.

There whole team does it though.

Oh aye, they take turns at being the protagonist. They are by far the best side in the league at getting away with the little niggly shit that the refs miss every single week.

The beautiful game.

Was a much better showing away at City. Same result but atleast we were in the game right to the last kick for a change.
With abit more quality we would have gotten something tonight, hell even with just a few more first teamers available like Bruno, Tino or Miley.

Gives me hope atleast for the cup game that we can go toe to toe with them that little better and with home advantage and possibly with them more focussed on other competitions, I hope we can get the result.

It makes it even more infuriating when we're getting constant fouls given against us, not just for doing the same thing but a few 50/50s were awarded to them too.

So don’t bother defending set pieces, just push a player offside in future. This game is such bullshit.

Don't bother to hold off a player while the ball runs out play now either, just push them into the advertising hoardings.

I suppose he could have done, yes.

Assuming he saw it like. Very difficult, bordering on impossible, to see everything that goes on at a set piece.

VAR should have picked up on it - they just pick / choose what to action

Despite the loss, was actually largely encouraged by that.

The attack is obviously still a work in progress, but the overall balancet looks miles better and we actually progress the ball with a bit of intent these days.

We're getting there.

We will beat them next time. Feel the karma tide turning!

Perhaps, well maybe more than perhaps.

But ultimately the best we could have got out of it would be a retaking of the free kick, so although it kinda feels like we’ve been massively hard done to, it probably isn’t/wasn’t that significant.
