Done the stadium tour at the weekend there and seen all this for the first time, I was nearly sick. It's everywhere on the inside of the ground as well, I mean is there really any need to have a massive Sports Direct sign in the Milburn reception? On a side note, the guy taking the tour said plans are in place and ready to go to make the Gallowgate level 7, but the club needs to improve on the pitch before they'll green light the plans. Nothing that wasn't obvious anyway.

No way are we going to invest in it, unless we somehow win some silverware then there is noway we will invest in it.

It'll be a long, long time until anything more is done to the ground aside from the odd lick of paint here and there.

Given the way football is going they'd be more likely to flatten the East Stand and rebuild with corporates in.

Capacity gets any higher and we'd only fill once or twice a season.

One day we see thiS I wonder where Shepered came up with the fun when he plan to redevelop the Gallowdate stand in 2007. I was so excited back then. I am pretty sure it will generate extra tickets if we get that.

Someone on twitter mentioned this after talking to Derek (had photos of where he spotted him) something about helping to expand family section if I remember right.

Said that when I went on a tour in 2009. Tour guide said that within a couple of seasons they were going to start building to get the stadium up to about 62,000.

Then the relegation happened...

The gallowgate extension goes back to when Freddie Shephard was owner doesn't it? When he was gonna build a hotel and a casino as well? Doubt we'll see it, pointless

Yep, we entered into a JV with MGM to apply for the UK supercasino license, which was awarded to Manchester and was then cancelled.

Developing the site would be a bit of a pain due to the need to redirect the roads but it's certainly doable. The metro station isn't an issue, that was just something reeled out by the club in the 90s as a bit of an excuse.
