sbnufc
Premier League clubs agree at least one block of away fans must be located pitch-side in every PL ground from next season.#SSNHQ (3/4) http://i.imgur.com/KiEBBoX.jpg Sorted
Geordie Ahmed
So the bulk of them could stay where they are, as long as there is a small block that is pitch side? I doubt we could get away with that, I suspect they would want there to be a bigger presence
Disco
Just do what we used to do for European games where they get that block towards the Leazes in the Milburn.
Wallsendmag
They'll put the away fans in the Leazes West Corner levels 2 and 4. It's the biggest corner in the ground, is the closest to where the away buses park up and is just underneath where the away fans used to go when the stadium was expanded in 2000. cp40
Bottom of the leazes somewhere would be my guess. directly behind the goal?- always felt they were the shittest places to sit having tried every view in the ground.
Figures 1-0 Football
What will West Ham do? Are any of their blocks classed as 'pitch side'? It's probably just as far from the pitch as L7 is.
AyeDubbleYoo
Pitch-side is a worse view a lot of the time anyway, I don't really get the point of this rule.

Andy84
The whole thing is pointless, the likes of Scudamore have to justify their existence I suppose and IF we get get promoted it will just cause a load of grief. It's like a unique selling point of SJP and when away teams bring a large boisterous following the atmosphere is still really good.
joeyt
From.com Logically that must also mean that some or all of the current Level Seven away section would be used to house home fans - with extra security requirements caused by relocating away fans (more sterile areas) resulting in a smaller overall ground capacity. henke
If we're gonna spend time and money altering grounds for this shite then it would be a great time to trial safe standing in England. In away sections at first cause away fans stand non stop anyway.

SteV
guna cause uproar trying to move season ticket holders from near the pitch to level 7 There should be enough space so they can be relocated elsewhere other than Level 7. At worst it'll be 3000 getting moved (probably less) and we have around 13k 'home' seats that aren't season ticket holder seats. How they decide how you pick where you want to go if you get moved, given price bands etc. is anyone's guess. Could become a mess.

There is no suggestion a decision will be taken but it is understood a few clubs are keen to discuss the matter. Many, however, are not yet sure of their opinion and the Premier League is conscious that it is a sensitive topic. It is, therefore, merely an initial discussion to ascertain the clubs' initial views.
AyeDubbleYoo
Now on the SJP seat plan there are sections called 'corporate' but I can book the seats directly for £27. Are they just wrongly labelled on the website?
cp40
I could see a small amount of standing, 1st tier of both gallowgate and leazes(away fans maybe) just like the way the original east stand was set up.
AyeDubbleYoo
Booked them anyway, they're in the Leazes high up so I don't they're actually corporate. Only pairs of seats I could find anywhere in the ground.
frankpingel
Are they not where family enclosure was years ago? Think they're sport bar now? Good view compared to level 7.
